First off, my apologies to my readers for neglecting my blog as of late.
It has been a bit over a month into the new year and during that time it has not been really eventful; just the usual hanging out with friends and the occasional movie.
On the anime front, my interest in the medium has sort of faded a little and I am not following all that many series (one, two series). Although, my addiction to cute or awesome figurines hasn’t faded (I am eyeing off a figurine as I write this post).

In more positive news my passion for photography has been re-ignited with the coming of the new year, having started a personal project: ‘365 Days, 365 Photographs’.
I admit it has been a bit hard for me to stay on track with this project; mainly stemming from lack of inspiration and a bit of slackness. Despite these problems the project has already helped improve both my technical and composition skills. I do however, attribute much of my recent improvements to shooting almost exclusively on my nifty-fifty.

For those of my readership who want to improve their own photography skills, I highly recommend taking up a similar project. If you lack time or are unable to post up a photo everyday, there is an alternative: the 52 project. In this version of the project, you post a single best photograph each the week (at least that’s my interpretation).

Up and Running Plus Stars!

I’m now up and running for a bit I’ll post some pics of the rebuild, Rena joined me when I was putting together the ol’ girl. This post is a bit photo heavy.

As a side note at this point I had noticed some of the pins on the chip were bent, nothing a mechanical pencil couldn’t fix. Rena though was very worried D:

Locked and loaded.

The locking system for the AMD heat-sinks are infinitely easier to use than the push pins on my old socket 775.

Cleaning out my closet

Since I was replacing my mobo, I decided to gut the old girl to redo all her cabling and clean out the dust that had built up over the past few months. The above was one of the cleaner cages.

Yaaay just about done!

Oh Noes! Rena managed to climb up onto my video card and can't get down D:

For those who have noticed I have moved sites.

Although the old site will still be up and contain older posts this one will be the one to watch for updates.
I have also moved my OCAU trading list and my SoftTH Config page to here as well because keeping two of the same thing updated is just a pointless exercise in redundancy.

I’ve still got to figure out the ropes for this here wordpress thing so don’t be surprised if you see weird formatting or stuff moving around.
