<p>The new expansion comes with more faction ships to earn, modifications to projectile weapons, improvements to the game&#8217;s interface, revamp of the in-game mail system and the most talked about change &#8211; Sovereignty.<br />
<span id="more-492"></span><br />
I&#8217;m not going to talk about how the new sovereignty system will work as it has been already outlined by CCP <a href="http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&amp;bid=691">here</a>.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">But there are definitely interesting times ahead in the world of EVE as large alliances lose ground and smaller alliances fill in the cracks.<a href="http://delayedflight.keikakudoori.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/sov_loses_eve_dominion.JPG"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-494" style="border: 1px solid black;" title="sov_loses_eve_dominion" src="http://delayedflight.keikakudoori.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/sov_loses_eve_dominion.JPG" alt="sov_loses_eve_dominion" width="430" height="539" /></a>You can check out the trailer for the Dominion expansion <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDVEHE10nHc">here</a>.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I know this post was late but I was busy playing EVE and looking at the pretty <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekXTtjlZquM">planets and starfields</a>.</p>
<p><a href="http://delayedflight.keikakudoori.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/eve_online_dominion_planets00.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-496" style="border: 1px solid black;" title="eve_online_dominion_planets00" src="http://delayedflight.keikakudoori.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/eve_online_dominion_planets00-1024x635.jpg" alt="eve_online_dominion_planets00" width="580" height="359" /></a><a href="http://delayedflight.keikakudoori.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/eve_online_dominion_planets01.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-497" style="border: 1px solid black;" title="eve_online_dominion_planets01" src="http://delayedflight.keikakudoori.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/eve_online_dominion_planets01-1024x640.jpg" alt="eve_online_dominion_planets01" width="580" height="359" /></a><a href="http://delayedflight.keikakudoori.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/eve_online_dominion_planets02.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-498" style="border: 1px solid black;" title="eve_online_dominion_planets02" src="http://delayedflight.keikakudoori.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/eve_online_dominion_planets02-1024x640.jpg" alt="eve_online_dominion_planets02" width="580" height="359" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Now back to killing rats and blowing up rival alliance members. <em>YARRRRR!!</em></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><em>Edit: Fixed planet image links. </em></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><em>Cheers Mike for pointing out that some of my image links weren&#8217;t being linked properly.<br />
</em></p>

</table>
<p>The above table (<a href="http://www.news.com.au/technology/story/0,28348,26245515-5014239,00.html">source</a>) shows that we pay a fair amount more for our software than our counterparts in other parts of the world, in some cases it is claimed that we pay <a href="http://www.news.com.au/technology/story/0,25642,23945533-5014108,00.html">five times</a> more for our software.<br />
Personally I think it&#8217;s because our market in general is smaller than the likes of the US or the UK meaning overall less units will be shipped so retailers have to make up losses somehow, though having worked in the field of computer retailing I&#8217;ve seen my fair share of dodgy pricings.</p>
<p>Anyway, good to see Windows 7 being rolled out and thus far I&#8217;m pretty happy to part with my hard earned cash for this release of Windows.</p>
